TREAD Base Plates – Lancer L5AWM

TREAD base plates are an upgraded base plate for Lancer L5AWM magazines - .223/5.56 and 300 Blackout, Gen 1 and Gen 2 - adding a grip swell for fast, positive retrieval from high-tension chest rigs and mag pouches (think Haley Strategic AR inserts), plus a stable base for mono-podding off the magazine.

Lancer mags are some of my favorites; my only real issue has always been how slick they are to pull from a tight rig. After testing a number of filaments and designs, the TREAD has survived dozens of fully loaded drop tests on concrete - even in sub-zero temps.

The design maintains your factory magazine capacity, so it's Practical Competition Shooting League (PCSL) friendly - you won't get bumped from Practical to Competition division for an extended magazine.
